Thanks to all of you, I did this today:
I donated $55 to the American Humane Association's Red Star Animal Emergency Services. My dad is going to match my donation, which means that $110 is going to the fund. That isn't a huge amount, but for a few animals it will literally mean the world. For that, I am grateful that I am able to help.

- consider making a donation of your own to the AHA
- text "PROTECT" to 85944 to send a $10 donation
- comment on the amazing Melissa's blog, for which she'll donate $1 to the AHA
