Even though I have lived in Minneapolis/St. Paul for most of my life, I've rarely taken the time to see many of the famous sights of my beloved cities. So during a June outing to the Stone Arch Arts Festival in Northeast Minneapolis, I decided to play tourist and snapped a few pictures of some of the best parts of my city.

downtown minneapolis and the mississippi river
the hennepin ave bridge and the grain belt sign
the guthrie theater and the mill city museum
the stone arch bridge and the pillsbury sign
There is nothing quite like Minneapolis in the summer.
